plug ins/add ons...
I see mostly things for PC users...is there a list of plug ins/add ons for OSX/mac users?
if there is, where can I find it?
and how do I use them?

Unless they indicate that they use some OS-specific function, which I don't think any of the plugins or addons do, you can just follow the instructions here:
http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/1/17439
to install plugins.
The link I provided is actually one of the stickies above this post.

Where did you get the idea they don't work on macs?
Us mac users are so used to everything not being for mac, that if we don't see a 'mac- capable' sign, then we assume that it's for pc. Which it usually is.
Having to peek and install stuff inside a Mac application bundle is not an intuitive nor recommended approach by Apple. GS doesn't make much of a case to respect a user's home directory and the normal structure of things in there so, yeah, unless there are clear indications, I can understand why one would assume those things weren't available for the Mac version.
gah. Not like adding plugins this way is 'microsoft's recommended way' either, i bet. Who cares? It's simple and it works.
There's a certain amount of "User Beware" warning attached to the use of plugins in general. So, if one isn't willing to brave opening up the application bundle, one probably shouldn't be messing with plugins in the first place. Especially given their history of occasionally causing lua bugs and other problems, and the fact that said bugs are totally beyond our control.. the user needs to be savvy enough to consider removing their plugins, before tying up our time with support requests.
wha i'm saying is that having to dump stuff inside an application bundle isn't necessarily the best place.
i'm not sure how vo's working directory being, say,
~/Library/Vendetta-Online/
would make things more complicated for the user and your support department.
nevertheless, i was simply pointing out why some users might have the expectation that plug-ins and what-nots are not available for Mac because of the default location these must go into.
like the screendumps being inside the app bundle rather than at ~/Desktop/.
no one's really complaining about that either. simply pointing it out, without implied gripes. i know what it is to work in a constrained staff environment (sheesh... you'd figure a 65,000+ employees company could allocate a few more heads onto a mac project but noooo.... bottom line... investors... yada yada yada... i know the drill way too much)

In a lot of OSX Apps/Games, application data such as screenshots and addons and the like go into ~/Library/Application Support/App Name/
I don't object to special-casing how this works on the Mac. There are some simplification benefits to having all our platforms work the same (Windows, Linux, Mac, the stuff is all in one place, even if the place is a little different, makes maintaining ports a little simpler). But, we could improve things on the Mac, I'm sure, and it probably would be quick to do. Roll it into a Suggestions Forum post for more feedback, and we'll take a look at it.
