So does this money get dispersed to all the players that are online for that team at the time?

Yes, it's 1,000,000c to every person on the team, who's online at the time of the capture.

bit high 500k is more reasonable. afterall a single valk only costs about 50k so you can lose 20 valks in a single cap.
