Last night after grouping and being relentlessly killed, and not able to speak my last words, or request aid, I thought it would be great to have a teamspeak server. So I set one up.

Feel free to connect and use it, you should be able to create private channels for groups and such, but there is also 4 regged channels, Global, and a channel for each faction. Enjoy!

PS I chose teamspeak since it's the only one I know of that works on windows, linux, and mac (mac is beta support still)

But dude!!! change the Codec will you!!!!!!! putt it to speex 12.3kbit

Trust me that will work beter!!

Mac clients (and possibly linux clients, I'm not sure) require the Speex codec, otherwise they will not be able to talk.

We're using it.

I've used public VO servers, for nation wars and what not and they're convenient. Thanks for setting this one up.

Oh, and if you create your own channel on the server you can specify which codec it uses. I'm on a Mac and we were using it fine last night on a channel I set up with the Speex codec. Thanks for making it available!

yeah, you can create your own channel with the speex codec but I think all channels should use it, like Global so that everyone can talk.

ok, server having some troubles. installed a new hard drive into my server. I was a little leary about it when i saw it wasn't WD or Samsung, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Sure enough the thing is giving my all kinds of shit, and looks like I may loose a bunch of data. Most of it is my roomies data, which is ok, since its his hard drive :P Anyways, thats the reason for the spotty uptime. Hopefully resolved soon!
