My updater is freezing and I cant log on, its been like this for the last week, I've tried everything, network/ISP configs, new software, compatability mode etc..

Pinged stuff (results below).. Please help me as I don't want to quit playing, I love VO too much and clicking on the VO icon and seeing the updater freeze everyday is breaking my heart :(

Im not too good with this stuff so I don't know what it means, apart from it not actually getting to guildsoftware.com and cogent is'nt helping??

I had only just learnt how to solo queens as well (thanks rottweiler) grrrr please help :(

Right-click or option+click your Vendetta package.
Choose "Show Package Contents".
Scroll down and double-click "vendettaclient".

This will allow you to play without going through the updater.

You may have further problems though as you're not using the latest version.

1. your ping is a little on the high side but not that bad.
2. your traceroute looks pretty typical for Europe but shouldn't cause Updater to freeze.

The only other thing I can think of is you may have a firewall that is not allowing updater to either go out or come back to you.
Make sure any router or firewall is allowing TCP port 21024 and UDP port 21141 to forward.

Look for things that may have changed since you were last successful. Network configuration, firewalls added/changed, etc.

You may also want to try a ground up re-install of the game from a fresh download. If something is corrupted, it could be breaking the process.

Hi fixed it everyone with just a simple switch of a button, literally. I turned my internet on and off again, and bingo bango it works.

Why i dont know, but im glad!
