hey i just got a valk and i was wondering what weapons i should outfit it with. moneys no prob. I'm pretty new though i racked up a lot of credits from trading thanks

Well, at the risk of being flamed by Arolte, try a twin sunflare config with a gauss.

no, no, no...don't use dual sunflares... use TRI-SUNFLARES.. then go find Arolte ;-)

Hm, I'm a fan of 1 gauss and 2 gravs or tachs. this is ideal against almost all bots. however in a dog fight you might want to drop the gauss, the refire is too slow so your aim needs to be dead on for it to be usefull.
I would recommend 2 tachs if you are a newb, high refire, and batt drain is not bad. you can put gauss on the center one then just have it as secondary fire if you are far in the lead.

Get dual-gauss and one flare. The flare gives you the punch when you have a clear shot from a medium distance, and the gauss have the dogfighting skills.

Gauss has excellent auto-aim. A setup I might try in the future is the "total package". 1 tachy, 1 gauss, and one sunflare.

3-gauss is the ultimate botting config. One-shot kills on the 75 bots ;).

Uhhh... Kheldorn, how long have you been playing? And what trade route did you use, by the way?

P.S. I always like the stock bus + flare combo... >:D

Better yet Icarus, buy a hornet and stack it with quad flares THEN find arolte. =P

actually, hornets are harder to ram with, I think hornets take more splash than valks too (using tri rockets).
