Really enjoying VO

Nov 22, 2007 CharlieParker link
I've always wished that someone would make a multiplayer HardWar-like gaming experience and I think this is it. You may or may not like that comparison but I'm really glad I found this game. I applaud everyone here who made such a great game at such reasonable prices whether you continue into the subscription period or not. Did Earth & Beyond, which was a fully retail MMO, have anything that VO doesn't offer? (**Besides cheesey character models and system hogging?**)

One question, it doesn't matter much to me but did buying the retail version have any benefits over free trial users?

Yes, it's a great game with a great community and developers. :)
As far as I know, the only restrictions that a trial account has are the 8 hours of gametime, and no Vote Muting capabilities.

well I am glad that vo is that game you've been looking for. make sure to check out the player run contests that occur on saturday and sunday. border patrol and border skirmish in deneb are fun, as well as hive hunt in sedina. have fun, and watch outt for pirates.

Welcome CharlieParker! I experienced a similar sentiment when I first logged in... only my first thought was "woah, 3D multiplayer Escape Velocity!!!!one" (little did I realize Vendetta would have a lot more depth) At any rate I knew this was the game I had been waiting for.

Now I appreciate VO for its own unique fun, its my favorite game and it keeps growing on me. VO's got more soul...
