Just wondering if any other Cox customers are having problems with lag in southern Arizona (or anywhere, for that matter). I can't even play VO right now. Been fighting this for the past several days, both at home and at work.

Are you on a Mac and did you update to Leopard? If so, see the MacOS X thread.

Nope, Linux 2.4.22 here. Haven't updated anything.

Try pinging www.vendetta-online.com for a few hours (while you aren't using your computer, and the connection is idle, no downloads), and see what kind of latency variations and packet loss you get. Then talk to Cox with that evidence.

Unfortunately, the problem could be anywhere between you and our servers.
