I tried searching the board for an answer but came up with nothing, though I apologise if this has been answered elsewhere.

I'm new to VO and am really enjoying it, but I've noticed that the choice of available missions doesn't seem to change that much at the stations, even when I go to another system. Do the missions become more varied with time? I only ask because I'm considering subscribing and just wanted to know before plunking down.

Yes, they do. And of course, more are being released. Try raising your standing with your nation and going to one of their stations. There should be more missions there ( they start out liking you) also, your level can effect which kinds of missions there are.
