Are there player owned stations?
Hi, are there player owned stations in this game? If there are, how do you get one?
No, but theres nothing to stop you from camping a station, and claiming it as *yours*.
I used to do this a lot, but well, it dont work too well with faction loss and striekforces. :D

I've been sworn not to tell anyone where the Viper "station" is located... (it's the Charlie Brown shaped Roid sunside of the field in Latos m7 with "Kick Me" burned into it's surface)
shhhhh due to some hidden sources i have tracked the hidden wh to devlopia it lies in Sol II shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Shardivh, there are plans for player-built and player-owned stations (together with the possibility to actually destroy stations), but I believe there's a good chance that feature is almost as far off as a 3D cockpit and being able to walk around in stations, which are both never going to happen ;-)
Almost, mind you. So I'm absolutely sure it will happen, as it is a far too exciting feature never to implement. But it will take time. If it's any consolidation, all of the upcoming features the devs are working on right now are all terribly exciting in themselves.

Player built/owned stations is much, much closer than say.. walking around on stations, or landing on planets. FYI. I avoid giving estimates on this stuff, due to unforseen ****, but I don't consider it that far out.
Anyway, I should probably focus on bringing the Trac stuff online, so you guys can gauge for yourselves, rather than replying to these threads.
