Like the title says. I literly just joined. Whats the game like? Is it sort of like eve online? Any info will help and any starter tips

What a question! It's sort of like EVE in that it's a space-genre MMOG. It differs from EVE in that it's not as complex, polished, or inhabited. Most importantly: Vendetta has real-time, twitch-based, ulta-hyphenated combat.

Know that Vendetta is, and always will be, under development. Right now there's a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff being laid down in preparation for big improvements in features and content.

Where is this tutorial?

The tutorial is offered to you when you are in the station. You can turn it back on in the options menu I believe.

Hmm, maybe I was doing it w/o realizing it. I logged on for about an hour last night and was doing some basic combat training mission, shooting up bots a few sectors from where I started.

I don't know about the others, but I had never heard of VO before yesterday. There was an article on slashdot regarding Eve's upcoming port to Mac/Linux and a commenter noted that VO already existed.

I'm not a huge fan of twitch based combat (although the opposite has its own problems, look at Eve where some people will *never* be able to beat other people no matter how hard they try), and I prefer more of the 'sandbox' game (which I've been told that Eve has) - the last game I tried to check out was Wurm Online tho it didn't run hardly at all on my machine, but the little blurbette on slashdot had me looking over here and it looked pretty interesting.

That may be your perception, but there has been an increase in active players according to the graphs. We just had a big peak on Sunday and there has been somewhat more activity over the past 10 days or so.
