I played a brief stint a year or 2 ago on here and made a little money and got a cool ship. I got interested in playing again and was happy to see my old account only needed to be reactivated. Doing so I logged in and saw I still had missions going. My ship was a hornet, when i jumped into a system with bots I was promptly destroyed due to my lack of remembering how to play.

Now the problem is when I got back to station I was only able to buy ships up to a warthog. nw i understand why I can't buy better ships (licensing) , but why did I have a hornet before and how do I get one again?

You probably purchased that Hornet in Corvus space and brought it back up to wherever you were botting at.

Currently you can purchase ships at license levels below standard requirements if you go to Corvus stations, but at other factions you need the full levels. So when you died, you were homed at a non-Corvus station which wouldn't allow you to rebuy your Hornet.

Corvus does sound familiar and that makes a whole lot of sense. Thank you!!
