Baby On Board!

Sep 03, 2007 break19 link
You see, in this sector, a Bright red Serco Vulture Guardian, with a bumper sticker, "Baby On Board", piloted by Eize Ryda.

You hail him about the specifics, and he rattles off a series of nearly unintelligible numbers..

16" (40.5cm) long, 3lbs 2oz (not sure of the gram equivalents), born September 3, 2007, at 5:48am, via emergency, life-saving C-section. Both mother and baby are in good health. Name: Abigail Marie Burns - she's a 35wk 2days baby.. about 3-4 weeks premature, but otherwise in good health.

Regarding the C-Section, the baby's heartbeat slowed wayy down, and they rushed in, grabbed her and rushed out.... If they had hesitated the slightest, it wouldn't be such a happy occassion.. BUT EVERYONES FINE!@!*@#&%$#@*

Sorry for putting OT stuff in general, but I wanted to let those of ya who had prayed for Kira last year, know.. WE SUCCEEDED THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for our previous loss, and may they stick with us during this happy time. :)

No worries, as soon as we get pics we'll show em off (We have some on the digital camera, but I leave it there with mom at the hospital so she can snap away, so no chance of getting them off the camera just yet, and once Abby is allowed to come home, they will post her picture on the bornatusa.com website. They won't post "preemies" until they've been sent home with mom and dad. :)

Nice kid. Congrats. Both my kids were pre-matured too (by 4 weeks each). It's quite usual nowadays. Physicians are beginning to think our higher standards of living (or stress) might be changing "the norm". Either way, I wouldn't worry about that.

Just keep her away from Lecter.
