HUD Target List plugin
I made my own update to VO this week. Go here for the full posting. And please keep all discussion in that thread. I will keep this thread only for update purposes when I release new versions.

The devs broke stuff... I fixed it =)
Also I added some new stuff to go along with the fixes...
1.3 Changelog:
- Added font size to the config (3 settings, let me know if you need more)
- Snappier response. When you select a target or change settings the list updates immediately instead of waiting for the next refresh.
- Target Quick select should work much faster in all sectors (even with lots of players/roids/cargo).
- Removed Shiptype from self info... since you already know what ship you have ;)
- cleaned up some of the code, hopefully to make things run a little faster.
- Updated to work with lua 5.1 (as the devs updated vo)

Updated to 1.5 about a week ago... fixed a couple of bugs and now at version 1.5.2. Go check it out here.

-Rewrote most of the code to use iup containers for various bits of the HUD interface. Also made things more object-oriented.
-Real smilies =) No more text smiles, targetLS now uses smiley icons. you can make your own smiley (or other faction representation) icons, just put them in targetLS/images/ with the same names as the old ones. Please send me any icon-sets you make so I can try them out =D
-Colored (by %) Health bars.
-Roid list. Scan a roid (with mineral scanner) and type '/addroid' to add a roid to the roids list. You can switch between ragular target list and roids list with a keybind. Type '/targetls roids' to manage roids you have added to the list. You can target roids in the list with your targetting binds, as with normal targets.
-Improved "Set Binds" dialog, now lets you set binds for #keys/mousewheel/or custom keys, or any combination of those.

hiya, drazed.. great plug... but i was wondering, has anyone else encountered an issue with their "nearest hostile target" bind no longer functioning properly in all situations?

irrevolute, can you give me more details? I think this has something to do with my TARGET_CHANGED event not firing properly, or firing late... I'm trying to fix that, but it seems to happen randomly, and hard to track down. Can you also give me details on your OS and any other plugins you may be using?

* cycle hostile/friendly (cycle ship types that show up in list)
* Display capship shields
* Add logo to ingame targetless dialog (branding)
* roid distance (show distance from roids)
* Use the new systemnotes area to save roids. (per-character ore lists)
* roid backup/recover (save/restore the ore list, incase something goes wrong)
* Ore Sort (sort by ore type)
* clear sector ore (clear an entire sector)
* Hide lists (show/hide the various types of lists)
* lots of config updates
* Cargo expand overlap (fix bug with expanded cargo info overlapping)
* much much more!

As a helpful note to drazed (and others using SVN perhaps), you can create a local backup of a remote SVN repository. Take a look at the svnsync utility, which is part of the official SVN toolkit.

If you have problems where layout/sizes don't look right after the update, download targetless 1.7.5 again to fix them. I will probably have a more official release on the weekend when I can look into why those HUD changes were made today, and what else they affect :)
