A Few Questions (New Player)
Well I am considering playing Vendetta Online because I have always had a deep love for Space MMO's. I am a former Earth & Beyond player. (RIP)
I was just wondering if there was any place I could go to view the ships for each race and other information.
Also are there any Guilds that are recruiting new Vendetta Online players? As many MMO's as I have played in the past I have no doubts that it will only take me a few days to get fully adjusted to the game but any help would be appreciated.
I'm a huge fan of using rockets/missles so I'm assuming Serco would be my best pursuit race wise?
Thanks For Any Replies/Help!

VO-Wiki has most of the stuff you'll want to know.

Using homing missiles will probably make you lots of enemies in this game. The combat is twitch-based, and so other players tend to respect PVPers who use rockets or energy weapons more than they respect those who use homing missiles, which are sometimes regarded as "skill-less" weapons.
Any nation is as good as any other as far as beginning equipment goes, but what you pick also should depend on your primary interests. If you're really into combat and PVP, pick the Itani or Serco (unless you want to be a pirate, in which case any nation is as good as any other); they're in the middle of a war and there's ample opportunities for PVP there. If you're into trading or mining, the UIT are a good choice as they have easy access to pretty much everywhere right off the bat, as well as better default standings with the smaller corporations.
Hope to see you flying out there soon!

I assumed so regarding your remark about homing missles.
But I am still curious as to which race would be my best bet for ranged heavy weapons, Serco correct?
Also, while that Guild list is helpful many of the "active" Guild's haven't had activity for a few months or so it seems.
Thanks for the info as well

For all intents and purposes, your race does not affect which weapons you can use. Serco have heavier special ships, while Itani have more nimble ones- that's about it. And you can always change your standings if needed.

Well, I know for a fact the guilds labeled as trade, nationalist or pirate (and PA, but they're in a category by themselves at the moment) have been active in the last few weeks. I'm the commander of one of the guilds on that list, so I know for a fact my guild is active. >_>
The Vipers are semi-active, but I've seen several of their members online in the past three or four days.
I could update the list again sometime, but I have a bunch on my plate at the moment, so it might take a bit.
