Just a few updates. You can now purchase up to 48 aaps at a time, requiring an extra fee to pay for the centaur. Now that I've built the structure of the centaur-loads, I can start adding new items to the shop with these kind of quantities. Also, we now sell samo for those that are interested. It cost's 30,000/cu and you can buy up to 3 at a time.

I'm not sure if this has been fixed yet (haven't used the SCAR Shop yet, since the only thing I can't get normally are UCs and those are not worth it to me), but wouldn't it be possible to circumvent the exploding bug (i.e. when someone interrupts the self-destruct sequence) by adding a time-out that restarts the sequence after, say, 15 seconds the first one started if the suicide did not happen?

Instead of using larger ships to sell larger quantities, can you send out multiple trips in the ec? If possible, then no limit remains.
