One question...
If a small ship is 100cu, and a medium is 200cu, will they fit in a Moth XC?

i hope the limit for ships at a station is above the number of ships in the game, if not i'll have to break up and close down Woodstocks museum of ships

Hmm, ok, re- read the news post , 200 k of storage is pretty generous . I panicked a bit at first , but realised that even at a major base I only have about 15 k of ships and equipment .

...And Ecka hauled a couple of roids INTO that stations, mind you!

We're pretty sure no one has more than 100k CU of space in use at a single station. We made it 200k to be sure (since one person was pretty close).

There will eventually be somewhat sane storage requirements, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. There'll be discussion about all of that on Suggestions well before it happens, I'll post another Request-For-Comments thread when we're getting closer and bring attention to it in a newspost.

While not a bug or suggestion, I do have a problem. I'm going to run out of room in my home station if I don't unload all the anti-grav coffee mugs I've accumulated from being upside-down. Now that I'm no longer in that orientation, I've got to dump them. Will the sun sectors in Helios be OK?

That might cause Helios to go nova. Probably a bad idea.

I've got the entire "Schultz and Dooley" set... Do you want them for the bar? There are 7684 of them (all 2 liter).

That's including ships, which can be up to 300cu each :P

Well, at my most stocked station, Geira O4, I only calculated about 15000 cu of stuff. That said, I don't need 30+ proms in one place.

Does this mean many players will start having inventory liquidation sales? Let me know if you start seeing space hobos holding signs near wormholes letting you know that EVERYTHING IS 70% at Dau G-2!
