Is there somewhere centralized that has a list of times that events such as the Nation War go on? I happened to be around for the Nation War on sunday and there was mention of another one on wednesday, but I don't recall the specifics. I'm also interested in any other events. Thanks!

they are announced in the role playing forum at least a few days before they take place.

We have a google events calendar? I didn't know that. Probably the reason its used so little; because nobody knows about it.

TGFT Mining Event? ROFLMAO, I think that was updated a year ago

Nobody uses it because everybody forgot about this, espcecially those who have rights to update it.

As for announcing events on RP forum -- most events are weekly, so even if it's announced after the event is over, you can come a week later to participate

Isn't it better to use the News-page in game? Especially for regular events like NW on sunday and wednesday. I see its' been used for stuff like that before, why not continue with that?

there currently isn't much rp-ing being done. so, people are not accustomed to be using the proper channels for it.
