Momerath broke stuff. You heard it first here.
Doot de doo..
I always wanted to have a reason to ask this question, "Mom what'd you break this time?"

When will servers be back up?
The chat looks a little weird, especially sector chat. It's very... colorful. How about we just add a colored dot before each message and leave the text the way it was before?

I'd say the server will be up in ten minutes to three hours.

Sorry for the extended downtime, everyone. This is a big update, on our side, and we've run into some unexpected excitement.
Ah...stuck at work late at night, that's always fun.
So, yeah, a few release-night problems, but things are mostly working now (and.. have been for an hour or so). Still working out a few Kourier issues, convoys or related escort missions might be a little funky for a bit here. Everything else seems good.
excellent easily the best update in the past year

We have one unaligned PC pirate now though :)

Question!
I suppose any now-stackable items that I have in my ships' holds will need to be stacked "by hand", right? Or will they have magixally stacked by themselves?
And is there a limit to the size of the stacks, as in, five items per stack, or can they be as big as the sky, say, I could have a 120-strong stack in my moth?
And: Holy Cow! Momerath is unaligned now! Is it me, or does that signal real progress on the Faction System?
[EDIT} Okay, I've been ingame and I can tell you, without reservations, that I hate chat colors. Could a toggle be added so those of us who don't want to see them can turn them off?

Stackable items need to be stacked by hand, till a dev provides some tool server-side to autostack them.
Easy way: buy a moth, load all the stuff, unload all the stuff, proceed to the next chunk. Loading and unloading correctly stacks stackable objects.
As for the limit, I know it can goes up to around 200.

I agree with jex, at least partly. The chat colors aren't very aesthetically pleasing the way they are now. I really think we can come up with a better way to do it, and if not, like jex said, it should be toggleable.
me for one, i think chat colors are usefull. they can be somehow less obvious, but they are usefull.
maybe use colors on the semicolons only, as i think someone sugested already.

For chat I would keep the message text a default blue. The player names would be the national color, and the channel number would be the color of the channel. That would be easy enough to read and still identify what was what.
the chat looks pretty cool!
