can we bring back ettaism?
I remmeber back in the old days, you could turn on a ship and when you were fighting, just etta out of the firing range if you were about to die. It helped a lot when you had puntsy little ships like the bus or centurion... it was a good move, even a newbie could learn it with a little practice. Sure, you only had a split second to get out of there before they could finish you off, so the etta was not 'sure fire'. It was not 'idiot proof'. But that is what made it a good feature.
Im wishing that was back. I wouldn't mind seeing a few new additions too that sort of built on that idea... the super etta, left etta, stuff like that. I remember some UIT guy had a macro to do a super double reverse twist etta. That was awesome. If you could jettison cargo while doing that, it would look way cool.
What can I say? Who here is for the etta coming back? Not everything from the old days was a bad idea. I hope the devs seriously consider it.
Thank you.

/me whistles for the FM to get in here.
What is etta?
I vote for "an artifact of ananzi's drug-addled mind". Wikipedia tells me it's the English Table Tennis Association (among other things). Take your pick. :-)
getta
as in "getta out of firing range".
