I think the ratio PK/D is more interesting than the overall deaths.

I did some long run trade missions and used self destruct to return. I'm sure some of the richer folk have done that a lot. I don't think number of deaths is very telling. Many of those on the list also have thousands of kills.

I'm actually surprised I didn't make it... I must have /explode'd a thousand times back in my first year of playing. It was the easy way to travel and do CtC.

It would be fun if the server differentiated between /explodes, deaths by running into something, deaths from NPC's, deaths from unrats, deaths from Hive bots, and deaths from other players.

The overall "skill" of the player would probably be a weighted average, heavy on PK/Deaths, medium on unrat deaths, light on NPC and bot deaths, and nil for collision and /explode deaths. That's when we could get the "mostly harmless" to "deadly" ratings a la EV:Nova.

The reason the good doctor is on the list, is due to not actually re-using the same char.

The data wont update because your levels are lower than yer old char by a large margin, it makes no odds if you recreate the char, you have to level it too for it to overwrite the data.

I took it up a couple, killed a few things and /exploded. So, unless there's some reason for it to require high levels...

Well, whatever, I've compiled a new list that is based on a low pk requirement (to weed out trial accounts) a low PK/D and a highish death count, I think its less comical, but still suprising.

It will update tommorow sometime I think.

Seems the new list is nice, but would be much better if at _least_ suicides were shown.
