If it drops down to 5% is there a notice and if the frigate is lost so is your ship, or are all the ships just domped into space?

Good off-line idea though, might want to store your frigate away from the station...

Yeah, that's a good thought. Now there'll be people that actually go 100 km from station, and there'll be a whole group of people to go find and destroy them. :)

Couple Ideas here. Have a home "Ship" and a Home "Sector" When you die, you can choose to go to either, but if the ship is destroyed, your sent to your home sector. And about the ship thing, I think the % of the capital ship that you are docked in should be shown in the top right hand corner of your screen. And there should be ship communication, like only the people in the cap ship or people that are escorts of the cap ship can see.

heh, well... it seems that every one thinks that the frigates will not dock anywhere... Hopefully there will be a Nation Friggate dock.

It'd be more fun to have the frigates drift, though. There'd be a profession of thrill-seekers who could go way out and kill the frigates, and there'd be all kinds of kewl stuff. But, of course, sectors 1, 2 and 3 would need to have some kind of REALLY BIG structure to put frigates in for extended periods of time.

I say, if the frigate explodes with you in it, you die.

If you dock with a frigate and leave the game, and the frigate explodes before you come back, you die.

You dock with a frigate, you take your chances.

I don't think you should be able to set a frigate to be your home station, though. In fact, I think that the whole idea of home stations needs to be re-worked.

Good point, i think your home station should be your home sector.
