Ok, so I didn't know whether this should be in bugs or general, or if I should even post it at all.

Today, while in Dau, doin what I do in Dau I shot up a UiT who was flying a Moth XC full of goodies, yay, payday! Anyways, I was apprently cheating, because no strikeforce were showing, he said he had had enough of bug and was quitting. (like the strikeforce would have actually made a difference, me see's XC, me kills XC, even if im in a bus!)

Well, moments later, Eo Solar flew into the sector and started to attack me, doing a much better job than the SF ever could (I was sure someone would show, as I was braggin about the lack of SF on 100 - people usually make fine replacements for the AI) Its was a very low playercount, so the chances of me actually finding someone to shoot at was slim, no matter where I was. I turn to fire back, and right before my very eyes, Eo Solar disapeared into thin air! I thought it was strange, but put it down to lag, or a logout, even though he was moving. Then he re-appeared and railed me, I of course returned fire, only to see him disapear again! He was in the sector for less than 10 seconds, and didnt stop evading my fire, or firing back the entire time. I was about to leave the sector and repair, when he re-apeared and railed me again, I of course started to return fire, but due to being tottaly frustrated, flew right into another set of his rails, being sent back to sedina. Eo Solar then logged off with the statement *You are not the only person who can exploit bugs ROTFLMAO LAMER* and promptly deleted his char.

Now I saw the SF not showing as more of a feature, I have reported this bug over and over, and can kill stuff fine with an SF (I frequently do) - I only noticed because there were so few players on that I had to go huntin, worm hole camping is fine if theres people actually coming out of worm holes... ...Its not a bug I created, and there is no glitch, or any way to re-produce this bug, it just happens, sometimes. I am not sorry I blasted his XC under the circumstance that I did, and am not trying to say what I did was right either, thats piracy for you. But he appears to have found a way to ignore the log off timer, and effectivly created his own cloaking device. And if this is the case, it needs fixing now.

The time of death, as reported by the game is 04/28/43 12:59:19 and it happened in Dau D9, charname yoda (for log purposes if needed)

Oh yeah, and the SF aint attacking me in Dau again.

Funny that spuck should say something in this topic when he's been known to do the *exact same thing*.

I don't look on it as a refelction of the [VPR] guild, nor hold them in an way shape or form responsible, it was one mans actions, acted out by one person, and for this reason, see no gain can be had from any logs I have, if the developers request them, I will send them, but of course, they have much better logs than I could ever hope to have :)

I don't take advantage of those things. I've never willingly misused a hole to affect mine or other peoples stats ..asshat!

You should also send the logs to the Devs, yoda, even if it doesn't help much.

Last I heard: he left us a message saying he is "done with VO" and it seems he left alltogether.

Etu Deximus just pulled something similar on me. In D14, he flew out to jump distance pursued by the SF. I was right behind him. I saw his warp animation, then he turned around and flew back to the station. The warp animation continued, but the SF completely ignored him as if he'd jumped out.

I asked him about it:

Etu Deximus is my alt, and he's a dirty crook, but I can't say I've ever used "hacks" with him. I see a lot of places where Impavid's admitted to my tricking the game, but fail to see exactly where I did that. It's my belief that Impavid must have seen someone else jump (from my memory, *I* was behind him when he started accusing me), and that Eo simply logged in/out. I apologize for acting coy. It was a little annoying to be accused of cheating, but I can see it probably didn't help my reputation.

For the record, if anyone's personally upset about some of the tricks I use with Etu (L-mining stations, swarms o' plenty, pretending to be a trader and then blasting ya, etc.), feel free to say so. I originally created him as a trader, but decided to become a pirate when I noticed a stark absence of player pirates down in grey. I figured it might add flavor to the game, but I'm getting some nasty comments, and wondering if all of them are in the spirit of RP. In the meantime though, I'll just continue to be the scum o' the universe, so that the Vipers actually have something to do.

Thank you for clearing that up Mynt. And let us all consider it a lesson not to be so clever with ourselves that we distract the devs from tracking down true exploits.

I know it's your pirate alt, and I didn't post it because you're a pirate. I happen to think we need more pirates as well, because it gives us Vipers something to do!

As you can see from the chat, I thought at the moment I may have made a mistake, which is why I asked you about it. But from my perspective, you seemed to acknowledge that you did cheat, hence my posting it here. I didn't ask about it until after commenting about it to Nerde, which is why you remember it happening at a different time.

Sorry for making this one public, but I really do think it needs the attention that it got. I will submit all further exploits of the lua console personally I guess...
