After my trial account expired I tried to upgrade - somehow the system instead assigned a new account name to me (basically, by adding the number 1 to the trial account name) and before I realized it I had a new account and had lost the 8 hours work I had on the trail account was wasted.

Not a big deal really, but it seemed odd that a new account name would be assigned without me actually typing a new name.

I'm sure the devs can fix this. I suggest you send an email to them, and explain the situation. Be sure to include both account names and the character names involved!
