if i put a xan xi storm extender on a raptor does it stack or do i still get 1500
Why don't you test and see?
It will stack.
Awesome!
Hmm what about putting more than one extender on? Will it stack too?
No. Multiple extender addons will not stack. This is by design.
Having three radios on top of eachother does not improve the reception.
Correct, but the extender isn't a transmitter or a receiver.. it sounds to me, that it's either an amplifier, or a noise blocker.
If it's a signal amp. then in real life, stacking it would make make it more powerful, and not just x2. It would amplify the incoming and outgoing signal, the next amp would then amplify *that* signal.
It it's a simple "cut-off" style noise blocker, then another one would actually likely hamper reception.

Hmm...
If we assume the 'extender' to be a computer of its own that interpolates the received data, instead of an amplifier or a simple noise filter (or even an elabroate noise filter), we could conclude that they would not stack (thereby supporting the current state). This would mean that the Raptor has indeed a stronger radar emitter/receiver (I take it for granted that VO's ships employ active radar).
However, if they are intended as antennae (so to speak), your estimate should be correct as far as I know.

Hm, my buskills reset... I had around 125 yesterday, killed someone in an ec89 and it reset to 1...
EDIT: seems like other people have this problem, but I can still buy EC-107s.

slime73: What character? I don't see any of your characters having any buskills before Wed at 4am (when our last backup was).
Email me if you don't want to say here what character you play.

What I meant was, I looked at my count on tuesday and it was about 125, and then I looked at it again a few minutes before I posted that, because I was in the middle of a buswar. Sorry if I wasn't clear, can't take much time to type when you're fighting :)
Slime73: You were clear, but what I'm saying is that there's no record of you ever having around 125 bus kills with your main character.
However, you do have the buskill medal, so you must've had over 50 at one time. I'm still looking into it.

slime: liar liar pants on fire!

Hey! I had the ability to purchase an ultra-charge battery at one time as well! Yeah, that's it...
I'm absolutely positive it said I had over 100 bus kills, and I'm pretty sure it was 125. I was going to post a screenshot of my character on the test server, but it wasn't displaying any of my buskills even though I could buy the EC-107 on my test-omega.
Ok. I think I found out what happened. There was a small window of time after the update a week ago where if you logged in, it improperly converted buskills. I'm working on a way to try to get back as many buskills for people as possible.
