Here I am ...
Ok, I've subscribed for a month. I will probably join an important beta next month so ... I'm not sure I will stay here after this first month but ... who knows?
I've played tons of MMOs but this never made me a hardcore gamer ... I've got so little spare time (I'm also married).
Well, just wanted to stop and say hello :)
In game I'm Kahr (UIT) and I've just completed the training missions .

Welcome to VO :)
Yay more mac folks.
Yes, I play some MMOs under Boot Camp but when a game is available fo both Mac and Windows (like WoW, Shadowbane or Minions of Mirth for example) I always choose the Mac version. Moreover, the Mac version of VO is fantastic (well, it only lacks FSAA support and that's a pity).
I've read in the manual that it's possible to create and leave a group via the command line ... but, isn't there any GUI tool that allows the players to manage groups?

Yes, there *is* a commandset for it: /group create, /group invite "playername", and /group leave
Yes, there should be a GUI for this and many other features. Been suggested already.

Ok, thanks ... luckily, the CLI commands are easy to remind.
There's a partial gui for it. If you select someone you want in your group (they obviously have to be in the same sector and close by for this) and press 'k', there's a group invite button. If you invite them and then accept, a new group is created automatically if you don't already have a group.
If someone invites you to a group, you can select them and press 'k' to accept the invitation.

Thanks for this tip, raybondo. Maybe a coleague of mine will try this game soon ... I will try to group with him using both the available solutions.
