Milestone Character Creation
VO has passed the 100,000 mark for number of new characters created.
The 100,000th character to be created was Olek. If you're still around, Olek, find Miharu ingame for a free million credits.
Congrats, devs!

Damn, I wanted to be that character! :P
Congrats VO, now let's try for 1,000,000 :)

I'm 6064! eat my justice!
Hrm. A far more valuable milestone would be the 10,000th SUBSCRIPTION. Keeping track of the # of alts people have is kind of like using gross sales to qualify a company instead of P/E ratio.
But still, that's kinda neat that we've gotten to 100,000.

Where can we see our character/subscription number?
actually, current is 100689. so, it's been a while.
I love that "Olek" has straight 0 levels, only completed 3 missions before quitting, and managed a whopping 7 bot kills.
That's pretty appropriate.
(http://vendetta-online.com/x/stats/100703 is current #)

The good Doc has a point here... lol
so where do I see what my # is.
You could search for your pilot(s) name(s) on "Duel Stats", and from there click on your pilot name.
Or you could go in the "Player Guilds" page, click on the guild you're part of and click your pilot name in the guild roster.
In both cases, you'll have a link in the form of http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/stats/N
The "N" is what you're looking for. Not all pilots can be found using these ways, obviously.

Great, thanks. So that makes me #38145. Are you sure they number through and do not skip any numbers?
Yes.
hmmmm im not so sure
If a character has been deleted, then a number slot will be unoccupied, I don't think the character creation tries to fill in empty numbers.
That's a good one!
spuck: they do now, but charID #1 was originally a1k0n, so... I don't think they did a long time ago. :P
plus there's plenty of gaps early on.
I guess that I just don't get it. I cannot find a way to see what number I am. I have
been playing for years, but can't find where I stand. What am I missing??

What's your character's name? Also, learn to love /verbose 9
