Well Hello! =D
I must say, its been a while O.o
It only seems like yesterday I stocked my trusty bus up with plenty of supplies (four pickles, a half eaten pizza, one egg, a pack of peperamis and a carton of milk) and set off from the relative safety of S7 to explore worlds unknown in my ultimate quest to reach the skybox..
Well, guess what, I have returned with tales of adventure that will shock and astound you!
Having been piloting for many long months now (infact, i think it's been years actually) in the deep outer reaches of space, far from the explored universe I did reach my ultimate goal... the skybox at last! The skybox it seems is actually comprised of light, fluffy cheese and small crunchy bits that i've decided to call.. well "crunchy bits".
It spreads wonderfully on toast and i've brought some back with me should anyone wish to sample its mouthwateringly delicious flavour. It's certainly better than what i was forced to eat after my supplies ran out some two days onto my journey, half chewed 'roid moss that I picked out the teeth of spacecows on the way. Ugh! I can still taste it now ... *shudder*
I think few of you wouldn't even recognise the retrofitted ec88 I left in all those years back.. Apparently it's now classed as an "antique" with no resale value whatsoever... not that I really care much anyway, its not like I paid anything for it when I left anyway! Still it's taken on several modifications, not least the high velocity methane star-drive unit I put together with the pizza box, some glue and an empty washing up liquid bottle.. It's kept me chugging along with the smooth, eco friendly velocity that can only be derived from spacecow dung for many years after my battery died on me (I know, I know, duracell ultra... goes on and on, but i was on a budget and didn't have the hold space to carry several million AA batteries as well as my waterbed and fish tank).
Well, anyway, to cut a long story short... with the help of several wormholes (huge green ball things! you have to see them, they are SOOOO cool ;) I stumbled across a small, outer system filling station that had a commsnet terminal... It looks like i'm finally home after all this time! I was so happy I even ate the egg I left with.. (got the serious s**t's now but, oh well, it was a celebration :-/)
Anyway, it seems a lot has changed since I left, the universe is certainly a much more deadly place than I remember! So after I have taken a suitable amount of time to become accustomed to those little things you miss when you're away... you know, food, beds... oxygen... stuff like that... I think its time to launch back into the universe and see if I can make a life for myself once again :)
Two weeks r&r should do me, then I shall see you all out in the stars! I wonder if anyone will remember me.. Would be good to catch up :)
Now, where's Verdandi's bar move to?? I'm thirsty!
