Valid point thuriaz , but it gives feedback that the mission is running properly.

This is why there needs to be a "follow" command, that automatically sets your forward speed to the same speed as the target, so you dont outrun them, or lag behind (if you can keep up)
then you just have the slowest ship be the leader, and have the others go no faster than it.

something's wrong with the test server
Test server is "Entering Universe..." for ever, or at least for the 5 minutes I bothered to wait.
Yes indeed. It's back up now- looking into why it crashed.
still down
Umm, no, it's been up since 4- if you can't connect, something else is wrong.
oh ok sorry i typed the above post at about 330 and didnt hit post for awhile cause i got distracted ill try it now
works now thanks

On the production server I hit 2 ion storms with my voy and they warped into oblivion and the mission failed.
Also when i kill pirates outside their initial WH Sector I do not get mission credits for it

Did they warp out of the second storm and each get removed from the group as they did so? Did you get any messages about them? Can you recall whether you arrived in each of those storms ahead or behind most or all of the convoy? When you kill rats and aren't credited, did you get any message about it? (ie: 'we only reward for kills in the same sector as the convoy')
Thanks for the report, Spence:)

Tried four HS missions on Production server last night .
The group is formed correctly , and the hive is engaged in the relevant sector . I noticed that as XX npc members of the group are killed they are removed , but that fresh XX ships do not join the group as they warp in .
On completion the " we have driven off the hive once more " message is recieved and the group is disbanded , but the remaining hive bots do not jump out but continue to attack . Once they are all killed no more jump in and the sector remains empty .
On return to k 13 I noted that the HS mission was still available for the sectors I had cleared. I double checked and the sectors were still empty .
hope this helps ,
cheers

no messages about the rats I was in the same sector
the voys got picked at a bit in each storm. I only had 2 moths left at the end of the second both removed from group as they warped out
into oblivion
and they go to their own exit point! but I'm sure you already know that

I might just have made a breakthrough on the Unrat problem.
I was in Sedina B-8, fighting a dozen pirates. It didn't go so well, and I died. This sent me home to a station in Latos. As I tried to figure out a way to come out on top the next time, into my sector jumps the very pirate who hailed me when I first entered Sedina B-8.
Not five minutes from this occurrence, I take note of a damaged Serco convoy in a wormhole sector. As I do, Spidey yells in 100 about what he calls 20 unrats in Geira.
Has the epiphany hit anyone else yet?
When you die, you go home. If this happens to convoys as well, we've just figured out why unrats appear all over the place, from Eo to any other corner of non-grey space. Whomever the unrat's last target was is pursued beyond death!
P.S. Does this make the unrats demons or something supernatural?

Haha, that's great. Was this on test or production?
Convoy bots don't get sent home when they die, but the pirates might know where they're going to regardless. But yeah, we identified a problem with the bot warping last week where "unrats" might be able to teleport to their destination. I was planning to prevent this kind of thing from happening (enforcing the warping rules of the game on bots more strictly) but I want to figure out why it happens now regardless.
