3.5 magnitude. that's nothing.
though, a worrying factor is, it's the 3rd in 3 days.

I live within 2 miles of the epicenter of that one and the two 3.7 quakes before it. We're all fine. Many people didn't even notice some of the shakes.

As you see, we get quakes fairly often. We don't even notice most of them.

A 3.5 is noticeable, a 3.7 is a bit adrenalizing, and it goes up from there. The Loma Prieta quake was 6.9 - that was kinda scary (and it wasn't preceded by smaller quakes, by the way). Our local experts say that the cluster is likely to have been a random occurence and of no concern unless they get above 4.0.

say i'm sick:
i'm pissed every time i'm back from the bay area and didn't get to live even but a small tremor.
i'm there twice a year on average. seems that for thrill seeking, i'm better off with loto.

Judging by the maps, I don't think the ones that upper case or Whistler are referring to are anywhere near where Joyce lives. Where were the ones you were talking about, Menendel?
the link i pointed to was that of the strongest as reported by usgs yesterday. unless i messed up on the search.
so either way, that quake didn't seem newsworthy because i have yet to see any reference to it in any major news outlet.
of course, in the event that i'm wrong, i hope joyce is fine and had a great time.

another 4.1 seemed to have happened yesterday... building up to something maybe?
I don't know where Joyce lives, but here's the worldwide earthquake list:
