Please, have a little mercy on us stick jockeys.

Not everyone plays with mouse and keyboard, some use a joystick or gamepad, and thus to reply to messages they must first put it down then type - or fumble and juggle while trying to type one handed, not an especially good idea when they're fighting something.

So please, have a little patience when folks don't reply to ./msg quickly, they may not be able to, or might not be in a place safe enough to lay aside the gamepad and reply to you.

Well, I usually just ignore people when I'm fighting. There are benefits to this:
1) It keeps your mind on the fight. When you win or die, then you can talk.
2) It trains the impatient types out there (cough... Smittens... cough) to learn to WAIT a gor'am minute whilst you dispatch the current threat before chatting.
3) The consistently impatient types, it REALLY annoys them and they stop talking to you, and that's always good.

I make it my policy to get all flustered, try to respond, and die.

That explains your need to fly a Trident loaded with Geminis, Ku. >_>

Then again, there are these types.

Basicly, after demanding my toll, I give 8 seconds to transfer the money, just so I have 2 seconds to destroy you should you want to /explode or even worse, /logoff.

I remember I used to be very patient about this, but after being screwed over a few times (those damn traders misuse my pirate curtasy, yarrr) It's pay in 8 seconds or suck vacume, Aye.

What you need is "/reply I'm flying stick, hold on" bind on a button.
