An apology (of sorts)

Dec 10, 2006 chillum baba link
In this post, I responded to Lecter's post rather strongly. I realized after re-reading that "they" refers to the unbots, not the devs ...and by extension, the game. (I didn't even read the last paragraph of CrazySpence's post 'til after the lock.)

I stand behind most of what I said, if not how I said it, but I clearly misinterpreted Lecter's statement. So ...sorry Lecter.

Since you started it, I'll reply to what you're still standing behind.

I'm not telling them *how* to do their job, and I have no idea how game develop really works. But I do know whether a game works for me and why or why not. And *only* the subscribers can tell the Devs that. It's not like them telling me how to practice law, it's like a jury or a judge doing so.

Nice argument Lecter. :)

See how much better sticking to what you know works?

Also I would like to add, it only gets repetitive if you stick at it too long.

If you *only* play it as a game (which I am currently doing, and woah, its a good game, even if its a game I would only usually pay once for), it is a good game, if you expect to make some second life in this universe, well, meh, only happening for a short time, till YOU run out of ideas.

My closing statement is: If you wanna quit VO, just do it. If you have had fun here and if you think you might have fun in the future once its unborken, take a break. I did, it did me good.
