come here, you silly bunch... */me opens his arms*
I agree with baba...
Also, VO runs fine on my 867 15" PBook, with acceptable ping times (european, too).

Hell, I could even afford to pay for VO a while back when unemployed for 6 months, so I can certainly do it now, if anyone leaves, send me your account details and I'll pay it!
I acually _can't_ play VO at the moment, and you bastards are whining about it, STFU already! And Inc., What happened to not reading the forums for a week? Go away already :P

Would be fun to be lecter for a month or so, heh!

Suddenly this is a hilarious thread.
I'm with you, yoda, I can't play either (apartment complex firewall + no time) but I'm having great fun watching the game develop and putting in my two cents. It really is interesting, and much less stressful from this side (should be even for you, Lecter) than from the side where you actually have to do work to make the game better. When I was younger I wanted to be a programmer, and make games; it only took one semester in high school to decide that it's just way too stressful to do code, and not for me at all. That was just one language, I counted three that Incarnate mentioned in just this thread that they deal with, and there're probably more.
Oh, and Incarnate, don't read this, go do your stressful debuggig.

To the devs et al:
Vendetta = Love
No other game like this exists, period.
Don't worry about players that think they know everything about running an MMORPG, they aren't the ones that took a twelve sector engine test and turned it into a successful 7000+ sector pay to play persistent universe...
...on three platforms
...with pupil-dilatingly intense twitch combat
...including players around the world
...without ever selling out or sacrificing your vision
You guys rock the universe.

In retrospect, I'm sorry about the wording in my post.
As for insight into the bugtracking stuff, that sounds awesome and on top of making stuff easier to track for you guys, it would also let people like me know what's going on.
Anyway, thanks for Vendetta. Even though it's delayed and all that, I still love it.
Consider this: I have never ever played any game as much as I have played Vendetta, and I've been a gamer for years and years. It's the best... or it will be... Soon(tm)

the interest accrued on my capship I demanded almost 4 years ago is now a Carrier group. much longer and you'll owe me my own sovereign military armada!
but I'll still keep paying until that day comes
only thing that makes me actually unhappy at the moment is the pirate bots, too many. vendettas crime rate is like 450% atleast! if that many outlaws can run around unchecked!

They're running nowhere: debilitator is fucked 90% of the time and they with it.
What happened to not posting in any forum where the URL doesn't end in 7, Lecter? That's a pretty unhelpful (and basically stupid) post.
Fucking know-it-all lawyers... you think cause you can handle this (supposedly) complex thing called "law," that you know something about programming? For someone that is supposedly rolling in it, you sure do make a bunch of noise about not getting your $10 worth.
I may sound like a rabid fan-boy here... but that's not the case. I wouldn't dream of telling Lecter how to practice law... howbout we all just stick to what we know, eh?
And if you think you are helping out here somehow? You honestly think the devs aren't already totally aware of player frustrations, and aren't 10 times as frustrated as any player? This is THEIR game and THEIR (hopefully) livelihood... they have far far more invested then any player. (obviously)

(Yes, I am still avoiding the messageboard).. I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread. I think we've covered the topic, I appreciate the support, and I don't think it would be useful for this to devolve into a flamewar.
