I am interested in hosting a Tube racing event in the near future.

The event would likely last about 4 hours, and I would prefer to do it on a Saturday, either in the afternoon or in the evening.

[edit]: Depending on the number of people interested, I may need to do tournament ladder styled, week-by-week qualifying races, to narrow down the numbers to about 5-6 racers per run.

The format would be almost exactly like what I created 2 years ago with VRL "Vendetta-Racing-League"

I need to make sure I have enough people interested in this who will actually attend the event, and if so; how many, so I can figure what kind of logistic work I need to do before race day.

Head-to-Head tube racing is some of the best fun I've had in VO, and I'd like to revisit it at least just once.

However I almost NEVER have 4 hours of unfragmented free time.

The first VRL event only lasted about 2-3 hours, though I'd prefer to keep a 4 hour window for potential hold-ups.

I thought it was close to one...

I have saturdays free as default, interrupted by the occasional RL get-together or game tournament. I express interest.

Tube racing is awesome...

My claim to fame is racing against a1k0n in busses during the last VRL event.

I also can't promise 4 hours but I would definitely be interested in another event. Saturday's good.

I'm interested, but I'm not sure what my schedule will be like, so I might not be able to make it. I'll try and empty out some time on Saturday for it, though.

Anything I try to turn up for recently has ended up with a no-show, but I would be interested.
