Funny how i and o are next to each other on the standard Qwerty keyboard.

That's so you can write IO much faster.

I thought it was so people'd make typos and stuff more often, you know, having three (four if you count y as a vowel) vowels right next to each other makes it SO much easier to type...

The guy who designed the QWERTY keyboard for typewriters knew AOL was coming and wanted to make the world's transition to AOLSpeak easier. The DVORAK guy, on the other hand, was dead set against it.
