Trader vs Pirates
iam observing that the game is split in 2 sides :
Traders and Pirates.
With a preference to be IUT Pirate or IUT Trader.
Best way to have acces to the best ships.
True or False?

I like a hybrid. =)
I thought it's split into Spammers and Runners?
The game's politics seam to have severial dimensions. With the main divisions being: Serco, Itani, Traders/Miners/Hunters, Pirates, Anti-Pirates, and misc other interest.
UIT is centrally located with a good selection of trade ships, and UIT start with advantages in faction standings, making it a good choice for traders.
Itani and Serco have a very good selection of combat ships, to the point that many who wants to avoid friendly fire issues by choosing to become hated by thier own nation, would rather not be hated by Itan or Serco, leaving only the UIT. If the UIT had a combat ship competitive to the Itani and Serco, you would see fewer UIT pirates.
The Serco/Itani conflict is at a slow point, and not currently as visable as the trader/pirate interactions.

rp dorks and the rest
Obviously, all UIT are traders. If UIT fought, then Ayn would have complained about them killing him enough that he'd spell their nation's name right.

TRS has the right idea here. When 2.0 comes out (maybe even 1.8), we'll see the Serco/Itani conflict hit a flashpoint.
