See, this is why I'm pretty sure the "Search" function doesn't work.

Of course, if the good Cap'n Kirk spelled it like that, I suppose it wouldn't have found anything, anyway. But he spelled it right in the body of his message, which leads me to believe he purposefully mis-spelled it in the title for some nefarious reason.

Like any search engine, it's GIGO. This one is very literal, while more dedicated search engines are "smart" and can find what you are looking for, rather than what you asked for.

The search function is not borked. Skipping the two returns for "Stacion", the rest pointed to:

3. (My idea also works into future player/guild owned stations.)
4. I was thinking the other day about when there will be guild owned stations, ...
5. If you build a station, ...
6. mmm... guild-owned stations
7. ...player/guild owned stations/capital ships...
8. ...trying to construct another space station...

What's happening is if the return is on page 2, 3, etc..., it is not highlighted by placement. In other words, you have to read.

Good point RelayeR. I find that the search function at least works, but just barely. And sometimes, if it returns a result on a 22 page thread, and the specific post is way down there, I either miss it or don't have the time or patience to read that much if it's not a very interesting thread, or an obsolete one. If there is one thing modified about these forums, possibly the most important change would be for the search function to take you directly to the relevant post.

But, I'll shaddup about the Search engine not working PERFECTLY. It DOES work kind of well, perhaps it's how the results are presented that bugs me. I know how it wounds the devs so when I say mean things like that... >:)

Back on topic, yeah we should have stations. Player-owned ones. With LASERS! And Custom colors and icons and whatnot!
