When i first started playing VO, the first time i went to Odia corvus Capital I got a message at the station " you have recived a elicit bank account". That was a long time ago. I seem to remeber somthing about it being started by a guild at the time. I never did understand it, you were supposed to use cammand /bank ??? Can some one tell me more about it??

p.s. I dont wana hear "boy you stink for some one that been playing that long". Untill now i've just played off and on.

There used to be a bank bot that would store money for you and allow you to transfer money to other accounts. I also believe it would hold a raffle or something for you to bet on. Nowadays there is no public bank bot, but I think some of the guilds do have them. these are player run bots, not ones made by the developers.

Wasn't that original bank bot run by solra?

Also, BLAK had a bank funtion with BLAK Hive....

I don't think there ever was a non-player run bank.... unless it was pre-release...

I dont think you had to enter the station just get close to it. The message was on the screen like the server re-set message. Also around this time frame they used to hold rouge bot hunts. Same kinda on screen mess."rouge bot in secter ## 5min to get there, player to kill it gets XXXXX combat xp" and then you would almost aways get second mess. "pirates stop shooting players attending this event you will lose XP" But it was the white type on the screen not in chat box. I looked for the OLD thread on it but cant find it. If i remeber, it said it was started by a guild named Elicit,and it said they made it part of the game,prob to pay pirates off before there was a give player cammand. I saw this game on Tech TV and gave it a try i think every one had a beta badge but me back then. So thats how long ago it was maybe pre release.

I'm telling you, it sounds like Services, run by Solra of the then [Elit] guild, Elite in it's full name. -_-;

Yep, that was 'ol Solra Bizna, and I think that was the first "run" at his bank that said something like that, before the "Services" bank. The "Services" bank would just take your money and then lose it... somewhere. >:P

I remember using the bank... Once. I never trusted it, and never put much money into it, because I figured at some point it would disappear with everyones money... And it did.
