Hello Vendetta Universe,
This is my first day as a subscribed member so I thought I would give a shout out into space and introduce myself.
I spent a solid two weeks looking for a great Space MMO. Due to a few reviews on MMORPG.com, I nearly passed this one up. I'm very glad I decided to give the trial a try.
Here's what made me a subscriber...
Friendly and quick tutorial.
The development team seems to take players' ideas and comments very seriously.
The intricate combat system keeps me coming up with new strategies, even against bots.
Dynamic trade.
Player guilds, and a really helpful and dedicated community.
Anyway, I should be posting this on MMORPG.com and other sights to get the word out about this game.
Just wanted to let you guys know how much I've enjoyed playing so far. I look forward to seeing you in the black.

Do we have a Firefly fan here? Awesome. That's my favorite show of all time, and makes me want to be a space pirate.

Good thing you came now, since until very recently the tutorial was very out of date. Glad you found it helpful.

The devs regularly read our posts and suggestions, and often implement them (though I suspect that in most cases they were aiming for whatever the suggestion said anyway). The community is small but, yes, dedicated. It's kind of nice that it's small, since everyone kind of knows most everyone, but hopefully the 'verse will be more populated in the future.

Welcome to the game and thanks for the perspective of a new player on what is cool about this game.

Firefly is what got me thinking about Space MMOs in the first place. The idea of exploring the universe and doing whatever you can to survive your next trade route while trying make a name for yourself, it just sounds like good clean fun.

I just had my first PvP. A lot of fun, you really have to think on your toes if your going to survive long. I look forward to honing my skills and participating in Nation Wars.

Welcome LaVespa, and FYI, don't mind Genka he is our local troll that we love to hate.

The tutorial is what sold me. Others I'd tried were sort of tedious and wordy. This one was very clear, friendly, and concise. It also helped that much of it was optional. I did everything, but I didn't feel like my first hour of the game was being played for me.

Incarnate must be beaming in happiness silently to himself, somewhere, after reading Vespa's praise of the tutorial.

Sounds like the new tutorial got a perfect review. I guess you guys finally got it right. That's one big step closer to being ready to advertise and 2.0!
