Nautargos- 1 yr Anniversary
Yesterday was my 1 year anniversary of VO. It's always been a goal of mine to reach this point, even since my newb days. For anyone curious, I might as well give a basic overview of my past year.. (I've always wanted to do this)
Very First Day
I'm fairly certain at this time I started in SkyCommand. As I took the tutorial, I can remember trying to dock in the launch bays. I was also asking for help over 100 about how to equip weapons. longar helped me, but I've only seen him once since that day. I can't remember much more about that day.
September 30th-Mid October
I spend my first few weeks travelling around exploring the place. I can remember fearing MonkofAkan. At about 1 week I met A-Dawg, who can be regarded as one of the most influential pilots in my time of VO. He soon invited me to SCAR.
October-December
This was one of my best times in VO., when SCAR was incredibly active. I can remember all the pilots together in the guild... A-Dawg, BUNNY, Mecha, Dr.Lecter, Viper88, Cunjo, BloodWraith. (Sorry if I left any off) I enjoyed the pirating, queening, mining and border patrol of this time. At this time our secret guild helio spot was actually secret. I think during this time I was pirated by tumblemonster for the first time.
January
I had some harddrive problem, VO wouldnt launch due to some "Fatal Error". I soon had the harddrive replaced and everything worked fine.
Febuary-April
During this time I finally earned more combat licenses and got my prometheus. I think I convinced Mintebi to join around this time too. He got a prometheus much faster, but he still doesnt have the mining and trade licenses I have. At the end of april, I was finally appointed lt. of SCAR. I consider this my peak in the game.
May-July
It was early may when I first predicted SCARs downfall. It was around the time that lecter was kicked and mecha left. Still, I miss the lt. position I had. I did so much during this time. It was mid-July (I think) when A-Dawg temporarily resigned and Viper88 took control. I remained with my lt. spot.
August
SCAR was set to go. We had a major rp event in its final stages to finally cut the tanis down. Sadly, most members were temporarily gone so we postponed it. The situation did not improve, so we considered a merger with ST6 called the ASD (Allied Serco Divisions). It was late in August when I decided to join ST6 to prepare for the merger. However, when I did this, SCAR poofed. We did not have enough council to keep it alive. Ironic actually. I dedicated myself to this guild but was the one to eventually kill it...
September
This past month I've been with ST6 and CORE. I pissed Mecha off, but he is unwilling to accept my apology. Either way, it hasn't been the same since SCAR disbanded. Nothing can replace it.
October 1st
And today I make this post. It is the dawning of a new experience for me. At the moment, the tanis are having a party without an opposing serco guild. However, there will be a time when we cut them down. SCAR will return for it's second generation, and I will continue to experience new things in my 2nd year playing.

To clarify: the secret helio spot(s) is(are) GR j4, m8 and somewhere off to the lower left of the ring that I need to look up. Not to mention the various fields in Helios... contact me for sectors :)

Congrats Nautargos for one year playing. Here's to many more.
Good post. I enjoyed your summary. It gives a new player, like myself, a view of a variety of life over time in the universe. You increased my interest in the game.
