Are these people advertising with their names? I'm pretty sure you can't do that. Or are they reviewing the game.
I doubt it's that, because the website is just something that's coming soon and has a play list of music on it.
So umm, wtf?

yeah, sounds weird. Site URLs should not be allowed as names.

since when did it become COOL to pretend to be a webspace?
when people could sign up for web hosting for $5/mo and park a domain for next to nothing. The power of the web can do great or small things. In this case, I argue the latter.
I also do not recommend visiting their site on principle and in practice. After all, who knows what these jokers have implemented on their site.

Jim Henson must be rolling in his grave
I don't like this one bit. Do we want this to become a trend?
What happens when every other character is called something out-of-game?
Can they even billboard their unrelated site ingame like that? I'm pretty sure it's against the EULA.

I don't get it. Did someone manually create an account with that name, or is it one of those automated things that signs up for everything? Are we going to have now as part of the registration interface, "type the letters and numbers in the box?"
You guys shouldn't be so hard on these guys.
Maybe you too will someday decide that making a useless, ugly-ass website to advertise on obscure MMORPGs is a great idea! I certainly wouldn't put it past any of you.

PC, they were chatting ingame, so it's actual people.
Gotcha.
i still dont think them advertising their domains is ethical.
can we have them rename or kill those accounts?

I can't bear RL products avertisings ingame. Would they be pictures, sounds, video tracks, or ... nicknames.
I point to : http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/13222#166683
where I already said my opinion about this.
I don't think these guys should have their accounts deleted, but renamed, sure.

Taken care of.
