i have heard alot of talk about being 'part of the guild' (From Star Freeze), but i dont understand it.

can you explain to me what IS being part of the guild?

There are many "guilds" so you will need to specify which you are talking about.

There are the:

•traders guild
•erinyes
•itani raiders
•and a few more that I cant think of right now.

There is a thing called guilds where it's a group of people who just trade, pirate, or protect people. In order to get into these clans/groups you need to find the leader and ask.

just ask people: "yo 'name' are you a leader of the 'something' guild?"

or is there a way of doing this thing?

usually, there are watched threads in the nation forums or general announcments. Alternatively, if they have a guild forum, look at the moderators and see if you can pm them.

a lot of people use the same handle on the board as they do in game.. see them in game and chat to them... also try the irc channels.

The VPAI exists, the IN-SAS exists and the UNPF exists. Those are what I remember off the top of my head, of course. Don't forget that you can always make you OWN guild if nothing interests you. :)
