11->17 was lining up that small far outish roid with the station.

Aye, you could start in the station..I suppose, but it was easier to head to the bottom middle cracked roid and line up the station with the right radar.

Ahhh memories. Nanites were the best commodity ever. S8 station looked cooler though.

And actually...
17->18 was much easier (and quicker) if you aligned your ship right after jumping in with a special part of the skybox (a nebula, if I recall correctly), and just boosted there directly. That way, you wouldn't have to fight as many furies (efficiency)!

You aligned the small roid with the large roid to get to 17.

Aligning station worked too because it was directly behind the big roid :P
Usually it was enough to just fly past the small roid with the station centered in the rear radar.
