A question

Let's say I made another video. Let us also say I put it on my FTP program for sharing. How would I then direct people to obtain said video while I seed it?

Edit: I'm actually not even sure if I uploaded it correctly. All I did was (using Azureus) clicked file, new torrent. Then proceeded to upload the video that way. It looks like it's seeding, but I'm not very familiar with FTP's so I may not have done it correctly.

I do not like calling torrent stuff FTP.

Anyway, if I understand correctly -> you must make the torrent file, register the torrent with a tracker, let people download the base torrent file, and then be the first seed. Try starting here:

http://www.torrentportal.com/torrents-upload.php

http://www.torrentbox.com/ is a bit better, but you have to register to upload stuff.

I think i used an automatic tracker with azureus.

Edit: well, I uploaded it here: http://www.torrentportal.com/details/695682/&uploaded=1#live

I really have no idea if it will work though. I'm currently seeding it anyhow. Let me know if anyone can at least begin downloading. If so, I'll upload some lower quality and smaller size versions as well. I'll also probably end up posting this in a new thread as well once I can verify it works.

About the video: Just a collection of interesting shots really. There's no story, no plot, and no chronological order. It's pretty much just a music video with some cool border skirmish shots in it.

8.8 Gb is more then a full duallayer DVD movie with 4 hours of video.
I see a problem there......

Yes, it's 8.08GB. I still don't know why it exports so big. Momerath and I tried to figure out why it was saving as such a big file on the last video and we decided it's most likely because of my outdated version of Adobe Premiere. But, now that I know the hosting works, I'll release a few more lower quality versions of the video. But, if you want the full quality, unfortunately 8.08GB is the only way to go.
