Does anyone have a good estimate on the velocity of the munitions fired by the defence turrets on the capital ship? Do they seem to be moving at about tachyon speed, or about railgun speed?

I know their damage is 1200 per shot, and their range seems to be about 900m, but that's about all I've figured out.
