Greetings, I came across VO when looking for some games for my New MacBook.
The last time I had a mac was a Rev A iMac with OS X (10.1).
Feels so good to be back home :).

I'm a sci-fi/fantasy buff, but when it comes to gaming, I'm more in to the Sci-fi and NOT the fantasy part (WoW? Shadowbane? EQ? *Yawwn*).

There was another post in the forums titled "It's Elite Online!"..
That is SO true. I played Elite way back in my Commodore 64 days. Constantly (perhaps the developers played it too??).
I think that's why I love VO so much - it tugs at a long neglected heartstring ;)
And I've only been playing it since yesterday evening.
I would've been playing it since yesterday AFTERNOON, but it took me a while to figure out the MacBook/pre-10.4.7 OSX update/Crash connection.

Looking forward to many glazed-and-blooshot-eyed, twitchy-mouse-finger nights and weekends while my roommates are casting spells with their 60th level garden gnomes in World of Warcrap.
