First off i gotta hand it to the dev's this game is great. Ive been playing SWG/JTL since it was releast and i would be hard pressed to pick between Vendetta and SWG prob because of after 3yr's of SWG i've made a lot of friends. Vendetta needs more players. Maybe you could hold a FRAPS contest and link the winning vid. to the home page so ppl could see game play. Like a third person and first view of a duel. www.fraps.com free trial records for 30sec a shot just keep hitting the hot key. The frapps files are BIG but it can be edited with somthing like windows movie (that would compress it). More ppl means more fun and prob lots of wormhole campers hahahaha

The game has been deemed not quite ready for a marketing release to get lots of new players. Currently the GUI and tutorial are in limbo (very bad for keeping new players) and there is a fair amount of content the Devs would like to add before the commercial release.

Aye, the devs don't want advertising quite yet because they're worried about getting a large influx of people, having them see the game in its incomplete form, and then leaving for good. They'd rather wait till we've got all the good stuff in place so that with the influx that will come from advertising, more people are likely to stay.

Whooooottt!!!! How anyone could watch that and not try the game on the spot is beyond my understanding. That was great. and yes i watched it more than once :) :) :)

Because they can't yet, MUWAHAHAHA. I sent them to a friend who is shortly headed to China for 9mo for study abroad; I'm sure he'll be quite pleased to try it when he gets back though.

The reason why theres not alot of people is not because Guild Software doesn't try, it's because Vendetta Online is not ready yet. IMO it's still unfriendly to n00bs, the interface is still up in the air, the eceonemy is basicly a beta and theres still a good amount of new models in the pipeline. Vendetta Online will be ready around when it hits 2.0.

So now we wait, testing and playing Vendetta Online, waiting for 2.0 to come out, like Chuck Norris waiting for the oppurtine time to use his lethal roundhouse kick.
