Hi ive just found this game after playing EnB ages ago so i downloaded it and signed up a trial accound. Yay!

One problem i cant log in.... is this a common problem being that its a new game?

What kind of computer are you using? Please be as detailed as possible (type of system, videocard or chipset, OS version).

i just found it and dl onto my laptop; dell inspiron 6000, onboard video :( win XP DSL internet .... centrino 1.6ghz i think nutin great.

how does this affect loging into the game itself?

Does the game get to the sign-in screen? You should use the same username and password as the ones used to access this forum.

VO is multi-platform game so it helps to know what hardware and software you are working with.

my system is a AMD 3000+ ASRock mother board 1gb ram 256 6200 video card adsl. i can get to log in screen.

i enter my user name nad pasword and it times out everytime??

is the trial acount actually playable?:/

The trial account shoud be playable and I am not having any trouble logging into the game. So it's not the game server that's having troubles. I'll look at the bug forums and see what options I can suggest.

my laptop is able to play WoW at lowest everthing...so it should play this.... i think

Oh it's a Dell Laptop, does it have the newest video drivers? There have been other reported issues with the drivers on dell laptops.

thanks that would be great... coz i cant figure this out... i have more then adaquet comp... trail account game loads... but times out on log in to server :( unfortunatly not the start i was hopeinng for especialy after such a long wait after EnB....

thanks for that.... unfortuanly i have a different problem.

the game loads and runs in the load/options/pre log in menu perfectly, when i enter my log in name and pasword=> press enter displays loging in.......... eventuly times out any other ideas?

also for clatity i made another trial account ..... :P thought the first one tashton hadent workd, albyno will b the one i now use.

but it still appears from my end that the server wont let me connect no software hardware issue

Do you have the Windows firewall enabled? Do you have any other firewalls enabled? You will sometimes need to manually allow vendetta.rlb and vendetta.exe to connect to the internet. http://www.vendetta-online.com/firewalls.html gives you information on what ports and addresses are needed.

I have never had issues with firewalls myself, but to test if it is a firewall related issue, you can disable them (you may need to restart yoour PC after disabling the Windows XP firewall) try to connect, and if its succefull, its time to hit the FAQ pages of whoever makes your firewall. :> Hope this helps!

ty for ur advice, i had already thought that and have disabled all firewalls,(windows, CA, and router) still no improvement:( lol i think im going to cry...

i have neva had this issue before. and its not my first mmo. i have had EnB and more recently WoW working no problems at all but if they were wat i was lookin for i wouldnt b here :).

So i am open to ALL sugestions that mite help Ty all.

Go into your VO package and look for the "errors.log" file. Copy the text and paste it in the thread in Bugs.
