CdrJameson - You are an Elite fan, I assume? I sunk so many hours into that game that it's not even funny... but I digress...
You can probably get around that problem by setting a generous dead zone for the throttle axis in the joystick setup screen in VO.
I use a Saitek X-2 stick system and the throttle stick has no tactile centre "notch" to tell you where the centre is so I have set it up with a huge dead zone so that anywhere near the centre will do. Seems to be working fine, might work for you too.

PS; I have put together a comparison of several late model (as of November, 2007) Saitek sticks in the MacOS forum. If anyone is considering a stick, even if you don't use a Mac, you might want to have a look.

i move the controles but nothing happenes, theres no glow around it or anything. it workes for the mouse but not my ps3 controller
