Could your application run 35% faster?
I wonder is whether the tool is geared towards a specific target or a more general performance analysis. How much of what that tool set analyzes and suggests for optimization is directed at Windows DirectX performance on nVidia GPUs, and how much could be applied towards a multi-platform game with multiple renderer options scalable to a very wide range of hardware?
If it says what parts of the scene are taking up the most GPU resources, where memory is leaking, and that sort of stuff, it seems like it'd be generally helpful. It couldn't hurt...
We've tested nvperfhud since they first made it, along with most of their other tools. However, we do not currently have a decent benchmark.. something we've been meaning to make for ages, but have been so busy on actual game-related stuff that we haven't had the time for heavy optimization-specific development. A benchmark is effectively necessary for any real profiling, to tell if what you did made a difference, and so on.
Anyway, thanks, we are well aware of it :). It's on Ray's laundry list, and mine as well.

Theres a thing called Game Launcher for mac...but i don't know if it allows other apps to open cause the update client and the client are 2 separate things :\
Or you could just view package contents then do it that way
