just curious: are planets integrated into the economy?
do the planets have products and consumers? do some of the transport ships go to and from the planets?
just curious.
just curious.
That would be pretty cool if they were.
Hey, can we get missions where we can be one of those transport ships? Then we can land on planets!!1!
(Noone's ever suggested this before, I bet.)

no, this has nothing to do with players landing on planets.
it is about NPCs traveling to planets. since a 'planet' would from this perspective just be 'another station', but with a lot more supplies and a lot bigger market, it wouldnt have any of the issues that 'landing on planets' would such as visual modeling or rendering.

Yes, planets will be modelled in the new economy. As you say, they are just another station that you can't actually get to which has huge consumption and production capacity. They will essentially be the major damping factor on the economic impact players can have.
Sweet.
that is cool.

It'll be sweet to see if players banded togeather to kill the econemy sooo much that the devs had to restart the eceonemy because everything was soo whack, like Plasma Cannon HX's were costing a million credits or something. >:D

My objective is to make the SCP cost 50 billion credits, so the promjocks whine.
